Step-by-Step Design/Build Process

Our process at Post & Beam Design/Build offers a single source for design and construction. This provides consistency throughout the process so we can keep you informed on different options and how they will affect your budget. Step One

Initial appointment scheduled with client. (No cost)

Step Two

Meet with client to discuss their needs, wants, and vison of the project. (No cost)

Step Three

Review portfolio and similar budget ranges to be able to draw up a preliminary budget letter. (No cost)

Step Four

Develop and design a detailed set of plans. (Fee based)

Step Five

Meet for Third appointment to present detailed proposal and sign project agreement.

Step Six

Start selection process and create detailed work schedule.

Step Seven

Review and finalize selections to start the production.

Step Eight

Project Begins! There will be periodic meetings throughout the process and update schedule and scope of work as needed.

Step Nine

Project Complete. There will be a final client walk through and client will sign off on project.
